Foundation's philosophy

Comprehensiveness for Cosmetic Dentistry

We believe that cosmetic dentistry is a holistic practice, and that just as a hairdresser designs a hair style to suit each individual's face and personality, dental prosthetics should be designed to suit each individual as well. We contribute to a better life and a better health of patients.

Only through mutual cooperation among dentists, dental technicians, and patients can true esthetic dentistry be achieved.

Organizational creativity

We recognize each other's individuality and abilities, and constantly strive to improve them. We also form flexible teams that transcend race, religion, age, personality, and national borders, exchanging and combining our perspectives and wisdom to propose creative technologies.

There is no discrimination of race, national origin, or religion at "oral design"or its foundation.

Philosophy for Cosmetic Dentistry

We do not consider the oral cavity to be merely the inside of the mouth, but believe that every oral cavity forms its own individual face and mouth. We believe that every oral design case is the ultimate custom-made case, and we seek the best design for each patient's mouth to build a better relationship between the person and the prosthetic.

Creation mechanism of the "oral design International Foundation

・Movement: To appeal to society about the role of oral design.

・Business  : To carry out the philosophy of the movement and apply it to our work.

・Academia: To objectify and deepen one's own work.

The code of conduct of the oral design, which has been in place since its founding, includes "movement, business, and academia". These three activities support each other, and all members understand the significance of these three activities and act accordingly, which is the driving force behind the oral design International Foundation and the oral design Symposium.

We are always thinking about what real esthetic dentistry is from our daily work, and new discoveries are made academic and presented at the biennial oral design symposium.

Foundation Overview

"oral design" was established in 1984. Starting from metal-ceramic esthetic dentistry, we are a fierce dental group covering a wide range of areas such as laminate veneers, all-ceramic crowns, implants, and dentures.

The oral design group currently consists of 126 members in 33 countries (as of 2022). Each country of the "oral design group" is an independent group home, and is structured as a group that carries the characteristics of each country and cooperates with members in other countries as needed.

As the " oral design International Foundation," the "oral design Organization" oversees the "oral design Group," deals with fundamental issues common to the management of each country in the Group, promotes cooperation among the countries, supports meetings in each country, and plays a key role in maintaining and promoting the Group's cooperation and organizational creativity. It plays a key role in maintaining and promoting cooperation and organizational creativity.

Message

The "oral design International Foundation" creates new value.

In today's dental world, work has been simplified by the diversification of CAD/CAM. In this context, we believe that there are great expectations for the frame design and precision of CAD/CAM as a force that can produce a wider range of innovations and problem solutions. The ORAL DESIGN Group has responded to the demands of the times by proposing solutions based on its technological capabilities in a wide variety of fields. In the future, as CAD/CAM becomes more diversified and work becomes simpler, we will continue to ask ourselves, "What is the esthetic dentistry that we seek? What can we offer in this context? We will provide new esthetic dentistry by combining a high level of expertise with flexible perspectives, utilizing our network both within and outside the group.

To this end, the oral design group will deepen its expertise in metal ceramics, laminated veneers, all-ceramic crowns, implants, and dentures, which it has built up over the past 40 years, while at the same time focusing on the development of a fusion of digital and analog technologies, and on "esthetic dentistry strategies" that link research to proposal with consistent creativity. We will also focus on "esthetic dentistry strategies" that link everything from research to proposals with consistent creativity. We will collaborate with these wide-ranging capabilities to create a comprehensive and robust organization.
