In the beginning of the 90s´ Bodel started to organize all members attending the Chicago Midwinter meeting who were there to lecture or having hands-on. Those of us who were there remember our dinners at Morton's steak house and other places.

It was different at that time. There was no internet then, so Bodel had to write letters or call to get information. At that time we were 16 members. The tasks have increased with the increasing number of members. Bodel was coordinator until 1994 and when we started our foundation Bodel was voted in as president. During the years Mr. Geller did not want to change the president, as he was comfortable with her and their thoughts were going along the same paths. Bodel has seen Oral design as a family, and has tried to keep everyone together, even when Corona hit hard and many events were canceled. She started our member meetings. The first was in 1997 in Stockholm, Sweden, then in Conil ,Spain in 2000,2018,2022 and 2024. These meetings gave us a fantastic bonding.

Bodel stayed by Mr. Geller's side until he died on December 12th 2024. She stayed another year to stabilize the group, which is now moving forward with new chairman Javier Pérez López, Spain, and a new board. With her 35 years in the group, she has a great deal of knowledge/experience about Oral design.
